Vesoul Town Hall has committed to producing videos to promote its work to the local population — including several films produced by our studio.
Political communication
Video is becoming, day by day, an ever more critical element of political communication, and the municipal team of Vesoul Town Hall has understood this perfectly. That is why it began building up a media library — a video library, in this case — gathering videos that showcase some emblematic actions of the municipality on behalf of its residents. The videos on this page are in French.
These videos, produced under the Cap Vidéo brand, form the first building blocks of a collection which, come municipal election time, will bear witness to the concrete actions carried out by the Town Hall — with the obvious aim of reinforcing its message to the population. A perfect example of branded content, designed here to showcase a local authority’s record.
Speed Rentrée
On 6 October 2016, as at the start of every academic year, Vesoul Town Hall welcomed the 400 students of its higher-education establishments with a festive, playful event called Speed Rentrée.
That year was its 10th anniversary, and it took place under radiant sunshine and in a terrific atmosphere!
400 participating students
Selfie competitions, “treasure” hunts staged at full tilt across several of the city’s landmarks, challenges of every kind — the students had to give their all throughout this eventful day, with the various teams finally converging on the town hall square, where the municipal team, led by Deputy Mayor Marie-Dominique Aubry, handed out the prizes to students still bubbling with energy despite their packed programme.
The video is a keepsake of just under 3 minutes, full of smiles — and at times epic.
Le Noël des Gosses (The Kids’ Christmas)
Christmas was approaching, and children would soon discover all the activities concocted by Vesoul Town Hall for the 2016 festive season.
The trailer
The novelty that year: the Town Hall did not settle for an announcement in its municipal magazine, but commissioned a video trailer from us — a film presenting the programme of upcoming festivities in vivid, spectacular fashion.
Shown on a giant screen
A 200 m² ice rink was set up on Place de la République, in the centre of Vesoul, for the whole month of December. Flanked by a giant LED screen, the trailer played on a loop all month long, announcing to the people of Vesoul the programme of festivities prepared by the town hall.
The trailer was also featured on the Vesoul Town Hall website, to give it maximum visibility.
The Kids’ Christmas retrospective film
Our cameras followed the people of Vesoul throughout the month of December, through the Christmas market and all the other activities put on by the municipality.
Despite the cold and a few snowflakes, countless moments of joy and smiles were captured by the lens.
The result is a 4-minute retrospective film that puts a grin on your face! Children with stars in their eyes, smiles, tradition, volunteer residents joining in… in short, the magical atmosphere of the festive season.

2018 Football World Cup
A little video souvenir of a stroll through the streets of Vesoul (population 15,000)… on 15 July 2018. 19,000 views in one week for this video, improvised at the end of the World Cup final!
