This animation is an initiative of our own studio, produced with the support of the CNC (the French National Centre for Cinematography). It is aimed primarily at local authorities (town halls, groupings of municipalities, departmental councils…).
The film for the City of Bagnolet
An educational vocation
Its comic yet didactic nature means it is also very frequently used by teachers to explain the principle of waste sorting to their pupils in a playful way.
The cartoon’s purpose is to help explain the benefits of selective waste sorting, both for citizens and for local authorities.
A 2’40 cartoon full of humour, yet educational — and customizable in the colours of each local authority that orders it.

The cartoon customized in the name of your authority
Which elements of the cartoon are customized?
The price of the exploitation rights already includes the customization of all the following elements:
- Your authority’s name and logo as producer of the cartoon, on the poster, in the opening sequence and in the final shot of the film (in the example above, “Bagnolet presents”).
- The number, colour and shape of the bins.
Any other modification is possible, with a quote on request.
Why a cartoon about waste sorting?
To explain to citizens the benefit they can draw from it.
Rather than an explanation of how to sort their waste, citizens are first interested in why they should make the effort. The cartoon’s objective is therefore to present everything they stand to gain from doing so.
To the question “why clutter up your kitchen with several bins”, the cartoon answers this:
- as a taxpayer, sorting costs them less than not sorting.
- it is an ecological gesture, which helps make their region cleaner.
- thanks to sorting, waste can have a new life, in the form of all kinds of objects.
- waste sorting creates jobs.
- for every citizen, it is a very simple way of contributing significantly to both the economy and the ecology of their community.
