In early 2016, Banque de Polynésie launched a communication campaign to inform its public about the “insurance” partnership set up with the Axa group. 3TOON produced the TV spots and the poster.

Blending 2D and 3D animation
This subsidiary of the Société Générale group wanted to feature a typically Tahitian family, but with a very particular graphic treatment: a highly refined black-and-white drawing style, where the only touch of colour could be the red of the logo. Guided by the Prox-i agency, based in Tahiti, the style evolved towards a mix of 2D for the characters, moving through an environment rendered in 3D (CGI).
The result is a spot with a highly original look — all simplicity, yet with a touch of modernity, and great fidelity to Société Générale’s brand image. An advertising film produced in 15-second and 6-second versions, in French and in Tahitian.
As a bonus, the 6-second version in Tahitian!
