This cartoon takes the form of a musical tale designed to make children and teenagers aware of the threat carried by the mosquito (which transmits the parasite), and of how to protect themselves simply from the danger.
The film for Sanofi
One figure gives the full measure of the scourge: malaria kills a child every 30 seconds.
To fight this calamity, the most effective weapon remains prevention. This cartoon is an awareness tool in the fight against malaria. The primary purpose of this educational film is to explain the vital importance of the mosquito net, in order to bring about the change in behaviour that remains, to this day, the best way to protect oneself from the disease.
3TOON is honoured to have put its know-how at the service of this message, in the hope of helping push back the scourge. Unlike all our other productions, humour was not the vehicle chosen to carry the message, but the combination of two other dramatic devices: fear (of the mosquito) and courage, embodied by the character of the little sister.
