Bruneau – Season 2 – La webcam du bureau

Given the success of the first season, one year later, Bruneau decided to repeat the experience with a new, even more ambitious season. So here come the members of the Vénus Détectives agency again!

Bruneau - Season 2

The series is in French – the episodes below are French-spoken.

A second season for the web series “La webcam du bureau”

This time, the series had 6 episodes instead of 4, a new dedicated website was created, and the episodes came with several games and many other bonuses, including a personalizable episode with an astonishing script, and a superb greeting card, personalizable as well!

A few innovations also spiced up the experience. Episode 5 became interactive, with two alternative endings. As for the final episode, it was exceptional in several respects, combining episode personalization with a very clever script that gave viewers a particularly delightful adventure.

To watch episode 6, we highly recommend the personalizable version, which will let you enjoy the experience at its best!

Immediate takeoff

After the particularly positive results of the first 4 episodes, Ludovic Loy and his marketing team carefully dissected the results of the first season, and decided to produce a sequel – an even more ambitious one.

Prepared since spring, season 2 was launched online by JM Bruneau on a new dedicated website, on November 14, 2006.

That year, the series grew to 6 episodes (plus a trailer), accompanied by games, e-cards and various bonuses on www.lawebcamdubureau.fr.

The first episode started with a bang and set the tone: more rhythm, more humor, more fun offered to Bruneau’s customers and prospects.

Martine is a genius

But who is this attractive young man in a red T-shirt intruding into the investigators’ office? In any case, his presence is not unanimously welcomed.

Barnabé’s armchair

In which the comfort and health of the agency’s employees are at stake… There is indeed a product placement straight from the Bruneau catalog, but it is so nicely “wrapped”… With a bit of jealousy to spice things up, and a touch of madness!

Featuring the first appearance of the famous WWF panda, JM Bruneau’s partner.

Episode 3 – Le fauteuil de Barnabé (“Barnabé’s armchair”)

Diego’s list

But which list are we talking about? Is that clear to everyone?

Judging by the chain of events, nothing could be less certain..!

Vanessa is in a meeting

INTERACTIVE EPISODE

An important day for the agency: Vanessa is representing it outside. But there lies the problem – if she is out of the office, who will keep an eye on what happens there? After all, the boss should be able to leave the office for one afternoon without everything going wrong. Or not…

The Flash interactivity has been recreated in the video below!

Bruneau - Season 2 - Episode 6 - Héros malgré vous

A hero in spite of yourself

PERSONALIZABLE EPISODE

To close the second season, Ludovic Loy’s marketing team wanted to strike hard and make a lasting impression. Concretely, this took the form of an exceptional episode, which individually starred the thousands of JM Bruneau customers who were invited to watch it.

Intriguing, isn’t it?

Claude Giraud, the voice of the man in black

This episode also had the privilege of featuring Claude Giraud, the “official” French voice of Tommy Lee Jones, playing a man in black who visits the Vénus Détectives agency to entrust it with a very special mission…

The combination of a very clever script with, invisible in the background, a good dose of technology and programming, made it possible to end the season in style.

If you are curious to understand the meaning of the title, and to see how the Web can transform the customer relationship, watch this exceptional episode for yourself…

Bruneau - Season 2 - Personalizable greeting card - Mission Blizzard

Personalizable greeting card – Mission Blizzard

The second season ended with the year, which was the occasion to offer the public an exceptional greeting card.

It is a true episode in its own right, fully personalizable (image and sound!) with the names of the card’s recipients and senders, for a one-of-a-kind experience.

Since the removal of the Flash plugin in 2020, it was no longer possible to enjoy this card’s interactivity. But in 2023, the 3TOON studio committed to reviving its personalized animated cards, and you can once again try the personalized version of the card with your own information!
